The early experiences of losing my mother to cancer at age ten and growing up in an alcoholic family system inspired me to discover skillful means for healing body, mind, and spirit. My background in the medical and wellness sectors includes a bachelors degree in psychology, an M.D. degree, trauma-informed medical massage work, and facilitating stress reduction education workshops for medical and IT staff. Also, the life experiences of managing a guest house and gardens in southeast Wisconsin for 16 years while raising three children, community volunteering, caring for parents, family, and friends at end-of-life and most recently embarking on the joyous journey of grandparenting have helped me to appreciate that life is precious and worthy of taking the time to truly listen and care not just for others, but for ourselves so that we can be there for others.
With the outbreak of Covid I became certified in Health and Life Coaching through the Health Coach Institute rounding out my background with whole foods nutrition, motivational interviewing, visualization, and other mindset techniques to aid clients to shift from what is not working well in their lives to adapting lifestyle habits that foster lifelong health and happiness safely and naturally. ​​
