Losing my mom to cancer at an early age and growing up in an alcoholic family system inspired me to seek out practical and effective life skills to heal body, mind and spirit.

My Health Coach practice is grounded in study and work in both the medical and wellness sectors including a Psychology BA, MD degree, trauma-informed somatic therapy, yoga, and mindfulness trainings.

With the outbreak of Covid, I became certified in Health and Life Coaching through the Health Coach Institute, rounding out my background with whole foods nutrition, motivational interviewing, and mindset strategies.

The life school experiences of raising a family, managing a guest house and gardens for 17 years, community volunteer work, caring for family and friends at end-of-life, and most recently, the joy of grandparenting and delivering our last grandbaby in an unexpected home birth, have taught me valuable life lessons that I bring to the coaching table.

I enjoy coaching one-on-one and have designed and facilitated stress reduction classes, retreats, and workshops both in person and virtually for IT companies and for medical staff at Froedtert Hospital Internal Wellness Program in groups of up to 50 people. Most recently I worked as a Health Coach and Massage Therapist at the Ommani Center for Integrative Medicine specializing in mindfulness based stress and pain management.

I look forward to working with people who want to improve health and happiness through evidence-based health coaching that aids in harnessing your innate resilience and joy naturally and safely.

Warmly,

Laurie Sullivan
